Originally two separate cottages, Waterside Lodge has been beautifully converted into a stunning holiday lodge with unique character.

 

 

At the heart of the lodge is the bright and spacious living area; a glass conservatory with uninterrupted views towards the river and comfortable seating for relaxing and entertaining. Next door, the spacious kitchen and dining area comfortably seats up to 10 for dinner, providing an atmospheric setting for dinner parties. The kitchen itself is fully equipped with utensils, tableware and modern appliances including a dishwasher, fridge/freezer and Rangemaster oven. To the front of the building, the outdoor dining area and barbecue provide a perfect setting for Summer evenings overlooking the riverside.

 

The lodge comfortably sleeps up to 10 people, with two en-suite twin bedrooms on the ground floor, two en-suite double bedrooms on the first floor and one additional double bedroom in the attic with access to its own separate shower room.

 

To the rear of the lodge, an outbuilding offers a large games room with plenty to keep youngsters occupied including table tennis, table football and a large seating area with television, perfect for movie nights. Also situated in the outbuilding are the large laundry room, separate study room, additional deep freezer and larder and a rod room for use by those who are fishing.

 

Waterside Lodge is a 10 minute drive away from the nearest town, Turriff, where there is a Tesco supermarket, petrol station, pharmacy and many other shops and amenities, some of which are highlighted here.

 

The lodge is provided on a self catered basis with a full collection of cooking utensils and tableware, however our talented cooks may be available by separate arrangement to cook evening meals as required. Please note we have a no smoking policy inside Waterside Lodge and we ask that you kindly refrain from bringing pets in to the lodge.

 

 

 

Booking your stay

Waterside Lodge can be rented all year round as a wonderful countryside retreat, ideally located for the broad variety of attractions and activities that the area has to offer.  Minimum 3 night stay.

 

During the fishing season (11 February – 31 October) Waterside Lodge can be let with fishing for up to 4 rods with a ghillie offering fantastic salmon fishing over a 4 mile stretch of the River Deveron.  Fishing guests generally take the lodge and rods on a weekly basis however shorter or longer lets are possible.
