By Car
From the East, travel through Turriff and take the Aberchirder road. As you leave Turriff you will cross the river Deveron. Continue for 1.75 miles and take the road to the left which is signposted “Meikle Ribrae and Burnend”. Continue for a further 1.75 miles and you will see the gated entrance to Waterside on the left. Waterside Lodge is located at the end of this track. From the West and North it is safest to go to Aberchirder and take the Turriff road. Turn right when you reach the “Meikle Ribrae and Burnend” sign and proceed as above.
By Train
The closest train station is Huntly, which is located a 25 minute drive away. Trains are regular from Aberdeen and Inverness and several trains travel directly to from Edinburgh and Glasgow on a daily basis.
By Air
The nearest airport is Aberdeen, a 50 minute drive away.

By Car
The sat nav should take you very near to your destination. There are signs to “Ferry Cottage” at the nearest road junctions confirming directions. Please proceed carefully and slowly as you negotiate the last piece of track which has a sharp right hand bend as you approach the cottage.
By Train
The closest train station is Huntly, which is located a 25 minute drive away. Trains are regular from Aberdeen and Inverness and several trains travel directly to from Edinburgh and Glasgow on a daily basis.
By Air
The nearest airport is Aberdeen, an hour's drive away.
